Signs You Are Improving Your Health

How do you know you are making progress with your health?
How do you know you have selected a program that will work for you?

Before beginning any program may I suggest taking some notes.

  • Why have you decided to make these changes?
  • How are you currently feeling?
  • Describe your overall health.
  • Write down your measurements, including weight.

You will check these notes in a week or two and compare how you are feeling, to what you were feeling.

Here is a list of results you should be experiencing in as little as a few days, others may take a few weeks.  This will be dependent on how well you stick to your program.

Increased Energy:  A great indication that you are providing your body with the nutrients it needs (and eliminating the food that does not agree with your body) is the increased energy you will begin to feel. This can begin to happen in just a few short days.

Better Sleep:  A program that works at balancing your blood sugar levels and provides great nutrients will help with improving your sleep.

Food Cravings Are Less:  Proper nutrition means your body has what it needs and the food cravings diminish.

Improved Bowel Movements:  With proper nutrition…  (a diet that includes fibre) your BM’s will improve and you will have better elimination, less inability to “go” regularly.

Better Digestion:  Your health starts in your gut.  When you improve the conditions in your gut you begin to have less bloating, digestive discomfort and water retention to name a few.

Your body’s ability to heal is greater than anyone has permitted you to believe.

Clearer Skin:  Better Nutrition = Clearer Skin.  When your digestion is working well, clearer skin is a bonus.

Weight Change:  When nutrition is cleaned up and the body is obtaining the proper nutrients it needs, weight loss will come.  It may not be one of the first signs you are improving your health, but with consistent, persistent work…  it will come.
