Should I Choose Organic Food

Should I Choose Organic Food ?

This is an interesting topic.  Organic vs Non-Organic.

People say all the time… ‘but organic is so expensive’.  Unfortunately, eating healthy is expensive.  However, the cost of not being able to work due to an illness can be much more expensive.

In the end it is your choice and only you can decide what is best for you and your family.

I came across an article written by David Suzuki and the another by Dr. Weil.  They both identified the Dirty Dozen and Clean 15 Foods from a study done by the EWG.  I thought it would be appropriate to share with you.

So here they are!  This ranking identifies various fruit and vegetables tested with the most amount of pesticides residue present to the least amount of pesticide residue.

Unfortunately, I see one of my favourite snacks comes in at #1 (most pesticide residue).  I will definitely be choosing more wisely when I am shopping!
