Natural Remedies To Ease Acid Reflux

For those that suffer from acid reflux, you know it can strike at any time.  It can be mild to extreme pain and discomfort.  You could try over the counter remedies or if a natural remedy is more your style, here are a few to try.  


Acid Reflux or heartburn is your body’s way of telling you there is an underlying issue that needs to be resolved.  A prescription, over the counter medication or natural remedy will help aid the discomfort.  To eliminate the issue, you will need to identify the trigger food(s), or maybe it is stress that is causing the problem. 

Five Natural Remedies To Ease Acid Reflux:


Eat enzyme-rich food like ginger, pineapples, raw nuts, raw fruits and raw vegetables

  • Improves digestion
  • Helps with the breakdown of food

Aloe VeraNatural Remedies to Ease Acid Reflux

Blend the clear gel and the translucent flesh (remove the outer layer and discard) of the aloe vera leaf with orange juice for breakfast.

  • Soothes an inflamed oesophagus


Chew peeled ginger, drink ginger tea

  • Ginger stimulates the digestive system to produce enzymes and secrete bile for better digestion


Drink 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice 10 minutes before a meal

 Apple Cider Vinegar
